Hi everybody:
This looks similar to a Flinn product (flaming vapor ramp) but the brief video clip suggests she didn't follow Flinn's procedure. Flinn's ramp is much smaller, uses a tea candle, and a flask with petroleum ether vapor. This one looked homemade, and the teacher
was lax with safety precautions (her long hair was not secured, and she reached over her head to add the accelerant). Both of these contributed to the incident.
Regardless, whether this demo is done with the Flinn product or not, adequate shielding is a must. I wouldn't attempt it with my classes in any event.
